Environmental Policy

Taylor Byrne recognises the importance of protecting the environment as part of a global community. Through planning and practice, we are committed to ensuring this protection by keeping environmental impacts to a minimum in a sustainable, financially rewarding and practical manner.

The Taylor Byrne Environmental Management Policy demonstrates commitment to carrying out its activities in accordance with relevant environmental legislation and associated regulations.

Through our philosophy Taylor Byrne will:
  • Identify, review and manage our environmental impacts, potential risks and opportunities for improvement;
  • Minimise waste-to-landfill, greenhouse gas emissions and other pollution, further reduce our consumption of power, water and natural resources and employ environmental considerations in purchasing decisions;
  • Promote and encourage environmental awareness and training to ensure individuals throughout the Taylor Byrne branch network are aware of their environmental responsibilities;
  • Regularly monitor our environmental performance to reduce consumption of resources;
  • Make available resources to implement and meet the requirements of the Environmental Policy; and
  • Promote external awareness by supporting projects that seek solutions to environmental problems in order to improve the sustainability of the global environment.
